a little about us

Leadership – Philanthropy –Collaboration:  that’s what the New Richmond Area Community Foundation (NRACF) is all about.  You will find the NRACF active in the community, fostering a positive environment through leadership and philanthropy, in which people work together creatively for the common good.  It was created in 1980 as a means for people of all economic backgrounds to contribute to building an endowment to advance the quality of life in this area now and beyond our lifetimes.

Since the inception of its granting program, the NRACF has awarded over $300,000 in local grants for a broad range of purposes.   The Foundation has been engaged in building a healthy community by providing financial support for needs such as:

In 2008, the NRACF became the lead agency for the Front Porch Project.  In that role, the Foundation is helping to address the needs for sound leadership across all sectors of the community, both public and private.  The principles of the Front Porch Project also support the Foundation’s core value of citizenship—being engaged in and giving back to one’s community.

As a community foundation, the NRACF is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, publicly supported philanthropic institution.  Through it, we can all be philanthropists!  Gifts of any size can be donated to the Foundation in the form of cash, stock or other assets.  Consider making a contribution to the NRACF:
